Nationa Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale slammed ODM boss Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta who seemed to own the BBI report saying no individual will decide for the other and no community is at the mercy of another.

While speaking at Hafsa Binti Siirin Islamic Center in Garissa town on Saturday, Majority leader Aden Duale said that Kenya is a democratic country where no one can impose his or her ideas on other Kenyans who have divergent opinions.

Duale further reiterated that every leader can speak for himself and the people he represent not for all. He said that even the President represents a community so does the leaders from Pastrol communities. Duale also warned leaders from the region who are pushing ideas which are not helpful to Pastoral communities to shun and join the pastoralists caravan.

“Kenya is a democratic Country, you cannot be intimidated by anyone whether he is the boss of the security officers , Senior Government officials or the President himself. Everyone is free to undertake his issues so long as he/she is in line with the constitution ” Duale said.

Garissa township MP blatantly clarified that every community will play to their own tune which will be designed according to their take. The MP also added that he advised Raila to have a second thought before he initiated matters BBI.

“we will not take part in a dance that we don’t know it’s genesis, we will design ours and dance on our own way. Raila is my friend and i warned him several times before but he never bothered to listen” Majority leader opened up.

Aden Duale also poured water on BBI report claiming the whole thing is a child’s play and not worthy of taxpayers money. He also confirmed that nothern leaders have started the process of challenging the census results through the legal institutions.

” what was going in the country for the last 3days was nothing but just a game meant to hoodwink the public, we appreciate the taskforce team for bringing unbiased report contrary to what some leaders were expecting ”

Duale’s sentiments barely comes after Garissa women representative Anab Gure said on Friday that Garissa town lawmaker is the pastrolists’ pointman and he will direct the region where to vote in 2022 and even beyond.

“We have a majority leader called Duale, who is from our region and we the MPs from NEP we are behind him and will support him because he means well for our community ” Anab said

The Majority leader was at Hafsa Binti Siirin Islamic center, Garissa town alongside teachers, parents and students to receive a bus donated by President Kenyatta when they paid him a visit at Statehouse, Nairobi.
