DCI officers raid Wajir women MP driver’s residence


WAJIR-The Directorate of Criminal investigation officers have conducted a wee- hour raid at Wajir women representative driver’s home in Wajir town.

The raid comes after a tip off on his presence in Wajir town, Ahmed Mohammed Noor Alias ‘Stoman’ who is believed to be the mastermind behind the chaos that ensued during an Inua Mama rally at Orahey grounds on Friday, November 29, 2019, Wajir has been on the investigative radar.

Earlier reports indicates that the driver has been on hideout out since but sources intimated to Asal Media suggested that he was on a function where the lawmaker was delivering an economic empowerment funds to women in Wajir town.

Speaking to the media, Farxiya Dubow , the wife of the driver said that at around 3am, Three (3) plain clothes police officers raided her home demanding the whereabouts of her husband.

“Plain clothes police officers raided our home late last night, they destroyed the gate and asked me the whereabouts of my husband,”¬†said Farixiya.

Wajir women MP driver is accused of aiding Yassin Mohamed , a kibera man who hurled a teargas canister at the function where some attendees and legislators were seriously injured.
