Garissa Township MP and National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale finally joins the handshake team led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM Leader Raila Odinga.
“I am not anyone’s title deed,” he said on Friday referring to reports in one of the local dailies that he had dumped Deputy President William Ruto.
The Majority Leader is believed to be slowly boarding the ship after reports of a rift between him and Ruto on the much publicised referendum debate .
Addressing the media last week at his office, Duale called the BBI team to reccomend a constitutional change from pure presidential system of government to parliamentary, a debate where the deputy President William Ruto and his team are fully opposed to it.
Duale also urged journalists to remain non- partisan, adding that some of their interactions on social media betrays them.
“How will I appear in your shows when all your online comments clearly suggests your political inclination,” he posed.
The BBI team is insinuated to be planning to propose Adan Duale for the position of North eastern Regional head once the constitution is amended.
