1 abducted in a Mandera bound bus attack

The Somalia based Al- shabab militant have attacked a Mandera bound Makkah bus plying between Nairobi and Mandera county.

The militant stopped the bus at a place called Chabibar village near Rhamu, Mandera North.

The passengers said the militant ambushed and forced the driver to stop the bus, abducting the mechanic who was the only non- local travelling with the bus.

‘’All the passengers on-board were locals , only the conductor of the bus was a Non- local,’’ said a passenger who declined to be named for safety reasons.
