
Northern counties of Garisaa, Wajir and Mandera poses high risk of the Global Coronavirus pandemic.
Mandera Governor Ali Roba has confirmed the first two cases of COVID-19 in Mandera following the travel of two, a Male and a female from Kilifi which recorded cases of Coronavirus.
The two whose result tested positive have travelled from Nairobi.
It’s reported that the two travelled with a Mandera bound Mecca bus on 1st of April and spent the night at leheley, a 10 kilometre location outside Wajir Town due to the curfew.
Normally buses plying from Nairobi to Mandera spend almost an a hour in Wajir for refreshment, it was reported that the two victims ordered for a take away breakfast from Titanic hotel which is located next to mecca bus booking office.
