Degodia Spiritual leader makes historic Kenya visit

Degodia supreme leader Wabar Abdille Wabar Abdi arrived in Nairobi on Friday for a peace mission.

Thousands showed up at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to accord the supreme leader a unique reception to mark his first visit in the country.

Wabar Abdille was recieved by senior government officials from Kenya, Ethiopian ambassador to Kenya Mr. Meles Alem, Somalia Minister for Finance and Economic Planning alongside delegates from Somalia, renown business moguls, women and youths, with entertainment from traditional dancers.

According to sources privy to the king’s programme, Wabar Abdille will have state meetings with officials from Kenya and Ethiopian embassy before he joins members of the public at the CID Trainig School in Nairobi’s South C area on Saturday.

The Supreme leader is believed to have visited the country for peace mission. He is also expected to visit North-Eastern counties and meet with the locals to address brotherhood, unity within and with other communities living in the region.

Wabar Abdille will focus on unresolved disputes among the Degodia clans, protracted clan skirmishes and cohesion among all other communities living in North-Eastern, the committee confirmed.

Source also confirmed Wabar Abdille will hardly engage in politics but strictly confine his undertakings on matters peace and unity.

In his three-week stay, he will spearhead an array of meetings alongside his entourage.

Wabar Abdille is the 12th Degodia wabar. He is selected through hereditary leadership and a distinctive traditional system within the Degodia clan.
