Two GSU officers killed and two injured in Dadaab.

Two GSU officers lost his life while two others were critically injured after a vehicle they were in hit an IED Ege-Dam along Dadaab-Garissa road.

While confirming the incident North-eastern Regional Commissioner John Otieno says that injured officer are receiving treatment at Dadaab Hospital and they will be airlifted to Nairobi for especialized treatment. According to Otieno the officer were escorting UNHCR officials denying earlier report that the officers were heading to supervise KCPE & KPSEA exams in Daadab.

“This incident is not related with ongoing exams and we have adequate Security officers for the exam centres and necessary arrangements for their escorts”. John Otieno says.

The incident happened Monday  morning around 6am.
