Ukambani will rally behind Uhuru’s Presidential candidate in 2022 – Kalonzo Musyoka

Former vice president and now Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has now cleared the air on where he will throw his weight as 2022 political waves prevail.

Mr. Musyoka confirmed his allegiance towards the head of state after rumours of new political marriage between him and the Deputy President William Ruto rented the air of which he denied through a tweet.

“In the light of recent conversations and speculations about working with the DP, please note that these speculations are malicious. They are a desperate attempt to drive a wedge between me and the President and have failed. Remarks by individuals should not be attributed to me,” Kalonzo wrote on his Twitter.

While speaking with the people of Machakos on Monday 23rd Dec, 2019 at an event held in his yatta Farm, Kalonzo declared his support to Uhuru’s Presidential candidate in 2022.

“Where the head of state will be in 2022, I will be there together with him,” Musyoka confirmed.

The former vice President also added the people of ukambani have been in the opposition block for so long, it is now their time to try their luck in the government.

The wiper boss denied all the allegations circulating around saying that Kalonzo will join a new political alignment after he missed the January 2018 mock swearing-in of ODM leader Raila Odinga.

“There are others who want Kalonzo to go from where he is and fail, do you want me to leave the high table?” Kalonzo asked the crowd.

Even after former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama made strides to initiate talks between Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Deputy President William Ruto, the former vice President said that his loyalty to President Uhuru Kenyatta is unbreakable.

Kalonzo Musyoka also joined other leaders who support the position of a powerful prime minister and not a weak one as proposed in the BBI
