National Assembly majority leader and Garissa Township member of parliament Aden Duale has finally rubbished the threat allegations labelled against him by Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.
Duale termed the allegations as baseless , a trick of seeking attention and relevance from the public. The MP also added that Machakos Governor plays a lower league compared to the leaders he accused of threats.
While responding through a tweet, Duale said that Governor Mutua must focus on delivering services to the people of Machakos than dragging the names of other leaders in such baseless allegations.
“@DrAlfredMutua is at it again seeking attention with the most fictitious allegations that can only fit in his failed Cobra Squad TV show. You will not gain relevance by shouting the names of leaders who have achieved more than he can ever do. Focus on Machakos, Mutua.” Duale wrote on Twitter.
Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has on Monday accused DP William Ruto, National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale and his Senate counterpart Kipchumba Murkomen over death threats. Mutua recorded statement at Kilimani Police station stating that the trio have made the threats against his life on two separate occasions at state house, Nairobi.

The Governor also claimed that Garissa Township MP Aden Duale told him that there are over 50,000 Kambas in his constituency and he can deal with them as a way to punish him.
On his part, Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen poured cold water on the allegations saying that the Governor lost relevance and deserves no one’s attention.
“Mr.Mutua is writing another episode of his cobra squad series.Having failed spectacularly as a leader he turned himself into a Joseph Goebbels of his county govt.He is of no consequence to anyone to deserve any attention let alone threats.Lets just watch the cinematic.vipindiree” Kipchumba wrote on his Twitter.
DP William Ruto is yet to respond to the allegations made against him.
