Degodia King, Wabar Abdille lands at Wajir -the heartland of Saransor community

The cultural leader of Degodia Wabar Abdille Wabar Abdi has arrived in Wajir County on Friday.

King Abdille and his entourage landed at Wajir International Airport and was recieved by Wajir County Governor Mohamed Abdi Mohamud

Flanked by hundreds of Wajir residents , the King was recieved with different kinds of somali traditional dances as residents turned out in large numbers to witness the important occasion. His visit marks the first to Wajir county, a town perceived to be Degodia community’s heartland.

The king held a public prayer before a mammoth crowd of Wajir residents at Orahey grounds , Wajir town.

Other leaders present include Adan Keynan (Eldas ) , Ahmed Bashane (Tarbaj) , Ahmed Kolosh (Wajir west ) , Rashid Kassim (Wajir East ) , MCA’s, County officials among others.

On Saturday, the king is scheduled to meet with Degodia community at sunrise primary school before meeting with other communities to deliberate on how to promote peace and unity among the communities living in the county.
