As the heavy rainfall experienced in the country becomes more intense specially in  Northern Kenya, leading to the closure of many major roads and bridges, displacing families and farms, the MP called up both National and County governments and also the Non-governmental organisations to speed up their interventions to address the worrying situations.

“The floods have engulfed most of the towns and villages in these areas, I challenge both level of Governments and Ngos to intervene and help people who have been affected by floods and use helicopters in the hard-to-reach areas ” Bare said.

After the Government declared a public holiday on Monday13th November 2023,  for a nationwide tree planting day, part of its ambitious plan to plant 15bn trees by 2032, the area MP has urged his people to honour give declaration and plant trees in their area.
