Eldas MP Adan Keynan has publicly announced that he has forgiven Wajir women representative Ms Fatuma Gedi who has accused him of blocking Wajir south from getting an extra constituency.
Speaking during a fundraising for Al- Nahda Islamic Centre in Tula Tula, Eldas, the MP has said that he regards her (Fatuma Gedi) as his younger sister and will never insult her back.
‘’…..Yesterday, I was insulted by my younger sister Fatuma Gedi and I want to publicly announce that i have forgiven her,” said Keynan.
The MP has also disclosed that he has a close relationship with Gedi’s family and even sponsored her studies.
“ I wish her father was here today, I fully paid the school fees of Gedi from secondary to university, “ added Keynan.
Keynan has also reiterated that the hopes of Wajir getting an extra constituency is ripe and requested President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga to heed the request of the county’s leadership.
